There are four parts, each in a different style. Part 1 is intended to be a fanfare. Part 2 is intended to be an allegro and includes Duke Street as a counter-melody. Part 3 is intended as a meditation. Part 4 is in a toccata style. These parts can be used for pre-service, offering, postlude, or even a recital/hymn festival. Texts associated with this tune include: Christ the Lord is Ris'n today; Jesus Christ is Ris'n today; Hail the day that sees Him rise; and others.
