"Pareltheto..." for piano solo op.103(2025) is a meditation on the words of Jesus (after Matthew 26, 39 - Mark 34, 46) in His last prayer to His Father on the Mount Olives: "My Father, if it is possible, may this cup be taken (pareltheto...) from me. Yet, not as I will, but as You will."
The work is divided into three consequent parts:
I. "My Father..." (Majestically)
II. "...if it is possible, may this cup be taken from me...
III. "...Yet, not as I will, but as You will."
It follows a free serial technique based on the note letters of the title.
It is dedicated to the distinguished Greek piano soloist Thodoris Tzovanakis,
