This piece was composed in the early days of my work as a composer, around 1983, and reflects a direct, lyrical musical language focused on cantabile line and natural phrasing.
In this version for clarinet and piano, the clarinet carries a singing melody supported by a transparent piano accompaniment, making the piece suitable for student and amateur performers as well as for use in teaching and recital contexts.
