Originally composed for the Mario Bauza Orchestra, the title refers to Mario's dog, Piro ("Para Piro" in English is "For Piro"). It was ultimately recorded on a tribute album to Mario by the band Cubarama, produced by Paquito D'Rivera on Termidor Records. This new edition is completely re-edited and engraved with explicitly written out rhythm section parts. (Recorded by Cubarama).
