Inspired by the traditional Irish jig Paddywhack in 6/8 time. It relates originally to St Patrick (Paddy), hence an Irishman from "Paddy" + "whack": as in "get one's Irish up".
During the recording session I recommended that the performers should feel free to add a little more Irishness to the original score, which they certainly did :-)
