After an effective Maestoso introduction, the bright Allegro really punches out the main theme. The contrasting Andante section in 3/4 has a beautiful melody first presented in the upper woodwinds and then later with the full ensemble. Huckeby’s previous pieces at this grade level have been extremely well received and "Oxford Pointe" is certainly one of his nicest efforts to date.
About C.L. Barnhouse Command Series
The Barnhouse Command Series includes works at grade levels 2, 2.5, and 3. This series is designed for middle school and junior high school bands, as well as high school bands of smaller instrumentation or limited experience. Command Series publications have a slightly larger instrumentation than the Rising Band Series, and are typically of larger scope, duration, and musical content.

Just Great
This song just blows you away when you do it right. The way each section balances in works together like nothing you've ever heard. I am a trumpet player and no matter what you play if it's from trombone part one to clarinet part three you get an amazing sound. If you havn't tried this song you must try it.
