The merry Overture for a Summer Afternoon opus 51 is a most welcome addition to this specific original repertoire. As always, Salnikov's signature guarantees a composition of high quality.

Nous ne comprenons pas pourquoi le compositeur russe Georgi Salnikov ne connaît pas encore le grand succès qu'il mérite en Europe occidentale. Ses excellentes compositions pour orchestre d'harmonie possèdent pourtant tous les ingrédients nécessaires pour plaire. Les Editions Molenaar ont déjà publié Burleske, Children's Suite, Poème pour Cor et Orchestre d'Harmonie et Russischer Reigen. La joyeuse ouverture Overture for a Summer Afternoon (Ouverture pour un après-midi d'été) opus 51 est un véritable enrichissement du répertoire original.
