Over the Rainbow

Our arrangement of Over the Rainbow (often referred to as 'Somewhere Over the Rainbow') is in A major/ la majeur. It may be helpful to play an A major scale to warm up before playing the piece. It’s possible to play the whole piece in first position but if you would like, you could try third position on the F sharp and E in bars 3 and 4 and similar places.

Over the Rainbow is a ballad composed by Harold Arlen with lyrics by Yip Harburg. It was written for the 1939 film’ The Wizard of Oz’ and was sung by Judy Garland.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
