ORYZA is geschreven voor het 42ste Altea International Competition in Spanje. Paella wordt veel gegeten door Spanjaarden tijdens diverse feesten. Written for the 42nd Altea International Competition in Spain. Paella usually serves Spaniards to gather and celebrate parties. The work describes the process that rice takes since it matures and is harvested until it arrives at the table to eat. All themes are linked to a leitmotif consisting of four notes taken from the title of the score. Through variations and transformations and a colorful orchestration, a cohesive discourse is developed. A firm commitment to the lyrical and the epic.

Écrit pour le 42ème Concours International d'Altea en Espagne. La paella sert habituellement aux Espagnols à se rassembler et à célébrer les fêtes. Le morceau décrit le processus selon lequel le riz cuit après avoir mûrit, comment il est récolté jusqu'à ce qu'il arrive à la table pour le manger. Tous les thèmes sont liés à un fil conducteur composé de quatre notes prises à partir du titre de la partition. À travers des variations et des transformations et une orchestration colorée et un message cohérent est développé. Un engagement ferme pour le lyrique et l'épique.
