This arrangement (duo, trio, and quartet) is taken from Fernando Sor's 24 Leçons progressives, Op. 31 - Book 2.
Sor (1778-1839) originally composed this work to demonstrate intermediate technique for solo guitar. I have painstakingly arranged every movent for duo, trio, and quartet. I have taken minimal liberties and have endeavored to preserve the voice leading just as Sor intended. I have merely expanded the texture to make it suitable for guitar ensembles. I'm confident that no matter the size or skill level of your enseble, you will find something valuable here!

Full score and individual parts included. Fingerings included. Duo, trio, AND quartet versions all included.

Note: This is a massive project (460 pages of music!!) that I have splitten into two volumes - just as Sor did. This volume contains Book 2 - which includes movements 13 through 24 from opus 31. I have also published Book 1 (movements 1 through 12) on my ArrangeMe page.

I have personally played several movements in duo and quartet versions with friends and students. I have found these pieces to be straight foward to learn and teach. Fingerings are included to eliminate awkward string crossings and to maintain consistent articulations arcoss parts.
