"One Summer's Day" is the opening track from the 2001 Japanese animated fantasy film "Spirited Away." Originally it was composed as an instrumental theme, but later lyrics were added ("The Name of Life" - "Inochi no Namae"). Joe Hisaishi's music has been praised as having "an eternal child-like quality without actually being childish." This eternal innocence is reflected in the lyrics: "I won't forget when we met - seasons won't change that Summer's Day.".
