Written January 20 - 27, this is a collection of 10 original organ solos written for a one manual organ with no pedal. Appreciate Carson Cooman suggesting writing these to fill a need for such pieces for smaller organs or for instructional purposes. However, these can be easily be modified in some instances for the skilled organist to add manuals and pedals and would also work well for piano or harpischord. The pieces are listed in the order they were written. Carson has recorded all 10 of these so I encourage listening to his recordings when available as well as Dr. Stevens' demonstration versions of each of these. Every piece is available separately as well. The YouTube demonstration performance is by Carson Cooman of the first piece while the MP3 demonstration is of "Invention Baroque."
