One of fifteen delightful and magical piano pieces from the album “YOUNG HEARTS.” When a child gazes at the night sky, their imagination unfurls into a storybook adventure, vividly capturing the essence of a cosmic journey with ONCE UPON A STAR.
Inspired by a deep love for original music, I composed this piece in 1994 while living in Sunnyvale, CA. Decades later, upon rediscovering boxes of some early manuscripts, I set out to record, transcribe, and arrange it into formal sheet music. My vision is for this music to pacify babies and serve as an engaging educational tool in classrooms for students from kindergarten through early elementary grades.
The sheet music for ONCE UPON A STAR is clearly notated, featuring detailed instructions on dynamics, articulation, phrasing, pedal usage, chord symbols, suggested fingerings, and relevant musical terminology.
