This musically diverse piece, full of great strength and conviction, contains three texts that intertwine: The ancient wise man, Rabban Shim'on ben Gamli'el says: "On these three things the whole world stands: justice, truth, and peace." Rav Muna comments on these words by adding: "Where justice is done, truth is done, and peace is made." Adding to the peace text is the familiar: "Hine ma tov uma naim shevet achim gam yachad." (How good it is for brethren (people) to dwell together in peace).
