Deze concertmars werd geschreven in 1994 en is aan een middeleeuwse stad opgedragen. Bij de aanvang hoort men het dissonante geblaat van de koperblazers (trompetten, cornetten, hoorns en trombones) die de rivaliteit tussen de vier districten van de stad uitbeeldt. Nadien wordt dit stuk een echte symfonische mars in typisch Italiaanse stijl, alhoewel niet helemaal traditioneel. Voor het einde hoort men het geblaat bij de koperblazers opnieuw, maar het klinkt heel wat melodieuzer en zo eindigt de mars op vredige wijze.

This concertmarch was composed in 1994 and it was dedicated to a medieval town. At the beginning you can hear the dissonant blares (trumpets, cornets, horns and trombones) symbolising the rivalry between the four districts of the town. Then, the piece is a symphonic march in Italian style but not completely traditional. Before the end, it is possible to hear the blares of brass again, but now they are melodious, so the piece turns sweetly to the end.

Cette marche de concert a été composée en 1994 et elle est dédiée à une ville médiévale. Au début, on entend des bêlements dissonants produits par les cuivres (trompettes, cornets, cors et trombones) qui symbolisent la rivalité entre les quatre districts de la ville. Puis le morceau a l'aspect d'une marche symphonique italienne typique sans en avoir complètement le caractère traditionnel. Avant la fin, on entend à nouveau les bêlements des cuivres, mais cette fois ils sont davantage mélodieux et la marche se termine d'une façon agréable

Dieser Konzertmarsch wurde 1994 geschrieben und ist einer Stadt aus dem Mittelalter gewidmet.Am Anfang hört man das dissonante Geblase der Blechbläser (Trompeten, Kornetts, Hörner und Posaunen), das die Rivalität der vier Stadtteile darstellt. Danach wird dieses Stück zu einem echten symphonischen Marsch im typisch italienischen Stil, obgleich auch nicht ganz traditionell.Vor dem Ende hört man wieder das Geblase der Blechbläser, aber dieses Mal klinkt es viel melodiöser und infolgedessen endet der Marsch auf eine friedliche Weise.
