Memorable Program
I remember doing this program for the first time I did a VBS over the summer as a kid (11 years ago). I saw the CD titled Oh, Jonah! while I was cleaning out a drawer, and was immediately of the motif in the program what goes with those lyrics (Oh, Jonah... ). It must have been a good learning tool, because I still remember the story of Jonah to this day. Listening to these songs again brings back memories from when I did this program.

The kids ask for it year after year!
This is the 5th year our children's choir (grades 1-5) have done Oh, Jonah! I've looked into doing other musicals, but none have songs that are as catchy and dialogue that is as easy to learn. There are very few lines to learn, which means the children can pick it up very quickly if they have a CD to listen to at home. The piano part can be a bit challenging (I'd rate it at late intermediate) but a lot of fun to play!
