This lively rendition of the popular carol (set to the Forest Green melody) is sure to get feet tapping. The tune is simplified and syncopated, starting with a soprano melody over ATB doo's in the first verse before the tenors take over in the second. A "Hope of Israel" theme takes over the interludes and weaves through various parts throughout the piece, culminating in a soprano descant in the final verse. Great for show choirs and acapella groups looking for an upbeat, fresh take on an old classic. Vocal percussion encouraged!
