Worth the work
This is not an easy piece, and requires harmonic stability from every section. For the more advanced choir, or the choir that wants a challenge, it's completely worth it! Each verse is unique and expressive, with a lot of different colors and imagery expressed throughout. It is at times touching, tense, thoughtful, exciting, agitated or haunting. The overall story weaves it all together into a great journey harmonically and melodically.

A new and innovative rendition
This new and innovative rendition of the traditional hymn O Come, O Come, Emmanuel will make a lovely addition to any Christmas concert. The interweaving voices and counterpoint make this an interesting piece from both a musical and textual standpoint. I sang this with a small group this past Christmas and it brought great depth to our concert.
