The soprano takes the melody in the first verse over a choral drone. The second verse is sung over a repetitive piano chant as the mezzo takes over the melody. The soprano floats a descant in the third verse over an alto melody as the mezzo reprises the first-verse drone, with everyone coming together in the end, culminating in a unison final tone. Great for church choirs, holiday women's choruses and accompanied caroling trios!
