The Nuovo series is a new series of music where I take the bass line of an existing piece and create a new melodic line for it.
In the second offering is Chopin's Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2 in E flat major, whose melodic line has been entirely replaced with my re-imagining of it. If you look closely, the entire bass line is intact. Not surprisingly, the music still sounds distinctly like the original.
