Not Advanced!!!
I bought this music to freshen up my music library. I'm a piano teacher and I have a lot of advanced students and coming up with christmas music able to challenge their abilities is pretty hard. Aside from David Lanz's stuff and Jon Schmidt, I have yet to find anything. This is listed as advanced music, but itt isn't. I actually use it for my early intermediate students and they don't seem to have any trouble with it. The music is okay, if unoriginal. My biggest problem with this book is that it was misrepresented as advanced when it's clearly not.

Refreshing
These arrangements are different from each other. Mr. Labenske does not create all items in his books the same. Some take some thinking and practice to get the intent of the music. I love them because they are different and very melodic.

Now Proclaim Messicah's Birth
I enjoyed this book. Victor's arrangements are refreshing. I get tired of being bored. Victor's arrangements are different from each other so a variety is included in the book. No book will contain everything one wants. These arrangements need to be thought of and pondered and then offered so that the fullness and richness comes out.
