This composition is an advanced level work that can be played in any concert setting. The goal is to make use of the middle sostenuto pedal and to use a wide span of the instrument as much as possible. The 1st and 4th staves are for the middle pedal and the 2nd and 3rd staves are for the regular sustained right pedal. The overall ambient sound of the composition produces a very stately and dignified effect that is accociated with a great longing for the superb light source that's inaccessible down here. There is a fanfare like melody that remains unchanged as the composition develops which represents that deep longing for a peaceful enlightened world worth making our goal.
