I use a variety of methods, depending on the student, however I really love the Noona method. Everything is all in one book...Lesson, Theory, Technique...just turn the page and teach. Very little supplementary needed. I use the Noona exclusively with one student, but bought an extra Book 4 for a student in another method...because some things taught in the Noona were not touched on in the other method. I use the Scale Skills published by Kjos, to supplement every method, including the Noona. I start with the Preparatory Book , when the student reaches Book 2 of the Noona. Now, this review was supposed to be about the Noona book 4..LOL...and it is..I love the method, just letting everyone know what I only use to supplement it..it's THAT good. The books are shorter, so the student moves through them a bit faster than other methods and that gives them a good 'boost'.
