Chopin - Nocturnes Collection
Certain authorities contend that the objective behind Chopin's Studies Op. 10 & Op. 25 was to facilitate already accomplished pianists, to acquire advanced technical virtuosity. As a humble player of only intermediate standard, I shall never be able to play any of these Nocturnes to critical acclaim. However I do feel that close attention to recommended published fingering in these pieces during persistent practice, will provide opportunity to improve general playing performance over time, not to mention the enjoyment and satisfaction to be gained from prospectively improving attempts to play music possibly regarded universally as among the highest level of compositional attainment for the piano.

Buy Something Else
I've been playing piano since I was little and am currently in college pursuing a Piano Performance degree. I bought this for lessons and was so disappointed. My free copy off of the Internet (this is legal) looked SIGNIFICANTLY better than this version! Don't buy Schirmer editions; I had heard not to, but confirmed this after I bought it. The notes are blurry/confusing/scrunched, and it's over-edited. I splurged and bought a different $30 book on Chopin's Nocturnes on SheetMusicPlus and it was fantastic.

Mikuli vs Joseffy - Chopin Nocturnes
I have only been playing again for 5 years, after 30 years off. My teacher decided to challenge me with Chopin Nocturnes; I would say she has done her job well with this collection by Mikuli. I have both the Mikuli and Joseffy collections. I find the Mikuli easier to read. But, so far I see only minor differences between the two collections.
