De ondertitel van dit werk luidt 'Rhapsodische Schetsen op een tweedaags verblijf in de provincie'. Oorspronkelijk schreef Penders deze schilderachtige muziek bij een diaserie over de Nederlandse provincie Noord Brabant. Het is een kostelijk programmatisch werk waar ook allerlei bekende geluiden in voorkomen zoals het aflopen van een wekker, het tikken van een klok, iemand die toonladders aan het oefenen is, enz.

This composition is subtitled 'Rhapsodic Sketches on a two days journey through a Dutch province (county)'. Penders originally composed this music to illustrate a series of slides on the Dutch province of Northern Brabant (NOord BRAbant). This is entertaining programme music with a musical evocation of a series of familiar sounds such as an alarm-clock going off, the ticking of grandfather's clock or a musician playing scales.

L'oeuvre est sous-titrée 'Esquisses rhapsodiques inspirées par un voyage de deux jours à travers une province'. A l'origine Jef Penders a composé cette musique pour accompagner une série de diapositives sur la province néerlandaise du Brabant du Nord (NOord BRAbant). Voici une oeuvre composée selon un programme et qui comprend également l'évocation musicale de différents bruits qui nous sont familiers tels que la sonnerie d'un réveil, le tic-tac d'une pendule, ou un muscien qui répète ses gammes...

Dieses Werk trägt als Untertitel 'Sinfonische Skizze nach einer Reise von zwei Tagen in einer niederländischen Provinz'. Penders hat diese Musik ursprünglich für eine Serie von Dias über der niederländischen Provinz NOord BRAbant komponiert. Diese ganz schöne Programmamusik läßt uns verschiedene vertraute Klänge hören wie das Klingeln eines Weckers, das Ticken einer Uhr oder ein Musiker der Tonleiter einübt...
