By Betsy Lee Bailey. By Betsy Lee Bailey. Arranged by Betsy Lee Bailey. This edition: audio, streaming. Broadway, Children, Musical/Show. Accompaniment. Duration 136. Betsy Lee Bailey #1238174. Published by Betsy Lee Bailey (A0.1672553).
"No Time for Monkey Business" is a jungle-themed Children's Musical based on the Aesop Fable "The Fox and the Monkey." It calls for a Flexible Cast (meaning there are very few gender specific roles) of 25+ young actors ages 5-12. This show can be elaborately done with colorful jungle animal costumes and gorgeous sets. It could also be done very simply. There are featured parts for many kids, and the songs are quite catchy and easy to sing. The audience literally goes home singing the tunes. The moral about learning to take RESPONSIBILITY is present but not preached.
"What a Beautiful Day" is the first ensemble production number in the show.
