Have you ever had a loved one who suffered so much pain in life, either physical or spiritual? Have you ever lost a loved one to death but are now consoled by the fact that there will be No More Pain in the afterlife?
Anton R. Tajanlangit composed this melancholic piano piece on May 17, 2017, as he was reminiscing about his younger sister, Sr. Cecille Tajanlangit, OSC, Mother Abbess of the St. Clare Monastery in Naval, Biliran, Leyte, Philippines, who succumbed in October 2016 to complications arising from an illness which had no known cure. She was in pain for so many, many years, but dedicated all of it to Christ, whom she said suffered more pain than she ever did. She was not afraid of death. Every agonizing moment of her life, she was preparing to meet her Creator. Toward the end of this piece, we hear her falling into the lap of her beloved Jesus.
