The usual concerns of eveyday life were carried far away. This is the story behind No Darkness.
No Darkness begins in the key of E major with both hands in the treble clef. As the left hand moves into the bass clef, the mood progresses toward more urgency. The "B" theme first modulates into D major, then F major. With the return of the "A" theme, the key of E major is reinstated. A soft, calm ending is perfect for this cheerful and fun-to-play piano solo!
