'new horizons' was originally composed for Tuba Quartet in March 2020 then I decided to adapt it for Bass Quartet later in the year. As with most of my Bass Quartets each player has their chance to take the lead in the ensemble.
After everything that happened in 2020 I thought this was an uplifting and optimistic piece to move forward into 2021 with and new personal adventures and challenges that await me back in the UK.
