Popular American hymn tune Still Nearer attractively arranged for flute and organ. The organ leads in a stately hymn-like manner and the score is notated on two staves with independent Pedal. The flute part is more involved, the player needs to have good tone control in the lower register to provide an attractive triplet broken chord accompaniment.
