This Oliver Nelson arrangement was written for Wes Montgomery's 'Goin' Out of My Head' album of 1965. This is a great guitar showcase and features some very nice supporting ensemble passages. Trumpet 1 gets very high throughout (see the range below). There is an open guitar solo section. This would make a great festival piece to show off your guitarist. Ranges: Trumpet 1 to F6 Trombone 1 to A4.
