Jules Verne's Mysterious Island is a famous classic 1961 science fiction adventure film about prisoners in the American Civil War who escape in a balloon and then find themselves stranded on a remote island populated by giant animals. The famous film composer, Bernard Herrmann created the music score for the film. He would numerous Academy Awards for various films he created during the Golden Age Of Hollywood. Films such as "Citizen Kane", "North By Northwest" and "Vertigo" were all composed by this legendary composer.
I wrote the sheet music arrangement and performed the piano solo based upon the music from the film. This is the first time this music has ever been written for piano solo; and it is now available.
