Frank Sinatra's iconic song "My Way," recorded in 1968 and released in 1969, is the English adaptation of the French song "Comme d'habitude" by Claude François, with lyrics rewritten by Paul Anka for Sinatra, transforming it from a story of relationship disillusionment into a triumphant life reflection, becoming a signature tune for Sinatra and a global hit, famously spending 75 weeks in the UK Top 40. This version features a root-based chord blocking that John and I have used in a number of our arrangements. We hope you like what we've done with this grand classic tune!
