My Robin To The Greenwood Did Go Piano, Vocal - Digital Sheet Music

LYRIC NOTE

This arrangement of "My Robin to the greenwood did go" (composed by Max Richter) from the historical drama film Hamnet (directed by Chloé Zhao, based on the novel by Maggie O'Farrell, with screenplay co-written by both) is a 2-in-1 score for voice and piano or intermediate piano solo. It is written in the original key (C Dorian) so that you can play along with the soundtrack recording. Since this version is a voice in piano version, the vocal line is the RH of the piano part. If singing, play LH of piano part only (including bracketed notes). Otherwise, play the piano part solo as written.LYRIC NOTE: mm. 32 - the current lyric in the score is "'falls" as in “befalls” to match what I saw in the film captions. However, I have seen a variation on some websites as "follows" instead. If it is "follows," the "lows" would land on the & of beat 2. I have both PDFs prepared, so if someone has the official lyrics and it is the other version, please let me know and I will update it accordingly. Thank you :)Page layout formatted for print: single-sided, facing pages, with margins for hole-punch/binder (reference video for setup: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-SwMGAEBWFQ ).For pedal: I would change every measure or so and the last two measures are the same harmony, so you can keep it as one pedal. Depending on the instrument you are playing on, it may require some alterations to avoid it getting too washy, but the suggested pedalling was written with an acoustic piano as reference. -For more information about the arranger, Dr. Ylan Chu, please visit her website: https://www.ylanchu.com More resource links can be found here: https://www.ylanchu.com/resources There are arrangements, ear training, sight reading, music education, and piano videos on YouTube (@ClassicalSqueak).
