Horner composed the basis of "My Heart Will Go On" as a motif for the Titanic soundtrack, and suggested developing it into a song. It remains one of the most recognisable and popular works in modern times
I wanted this arrangement to be very evocative. Flute and piano open the song with a 'thin' accompaniment. The texture increases harmonically and the volume slow increases. After an interlude with flute and piano, the key suddenly changes and the song lifts into a rousing section, followed by a sombre, quite ending, depicting the loss after the disaster.
