My Favorite Things will certainly be a favorite for any musicians that love odd time signatures. This 11/4 arrangement (3+3+3+2) for big band (5/4/4/4) features the drums quite heavily, and also needs a very strong lead trumpet player. While the arrangement itself is fairly simple, the odd time signature and large range required make this chart a tad more challenging. This version is inspired by the John Coltrane recording, however there are no doubles required for any saxophones, nor mutes for any brass. Additionally, there are 2 endings, one with Fine (short) and the other with Coda (long).
