I have always thought this gorgeous melody would sound amazing as a woodwind quintet (my personal favorite ensemble), and I am glad I have finally gotten around to putting what I hear in my head on paper. The melody moves around between the different instruments as if they are having a conversation. This is a challenging and enjoyable arrangement, suitable for advanced students or professionals. The beauty and romance of this piece would make it great as wedding music. It would also be suitable for a chamber music concert, or in a school or church. I hope you will enjoy playing this piece as much as I have enjoyed arranging it!

Dear Anonymous reviewer, I see what you mean about the triplets being more tedious in the wind parts! I am going to publish a new version where the strings parts are not transcribed so literally, keeping in mind what works better for winds. I hope you will consider my revised version! Thank you.

Great for Weddings
My quintet played this for a wedding, and there was not a dry eye in the church! It was nice to have something suitable for the ceremony, but not the same old music that everyone plays for weddings. This is a beautiful piece, and I like how the arranger moves the melody around between instruments. It was an enjoyable piece to rehearse and perform, and the wedding guests loved it. We will definitely be adding this to our regular wedding repertoire! It would also be good for a recital or a party.

Nice Concept
This is truly one of Mozart's masterpieces! I would love to play this in woodwind quintet. However, playing all those repeated triplets on a reed instrument would probably give my tongue a splinter. Maybe don't transcribe the string parts so literally. Fix this and I will come back and buy it for sure!
