The origins of the Movement in F are largely experimental. It was borne of a final project for an undergraduate theory course and to an indirect and modest degree inspired by a study abroad course I had taken the previous summer in central Europe, including Hungary. Thus, it utilizes Hungarian scales and rhythms as it wanders contemplatively from image to image.
