You could perform this but I conceived this as an enrichment piece for High School singers. Motette (a small motet) grew out of some counterpoint noodling. There is no text ; use syllables so the concentration can be on learning Renaissance style and sound. I have also arranged this for brass quartet (Ricercare available on this site - but different key!!) It is unaccompanied but a rehearsal keyboard part is provided.
