This elegant ballad (at least, before I got my hands on it) is the love and closing theme from the wholly inelegant 1989 sports flick "Major League" (which I have to admit to watching more than once). This is a trombone feature, demonstrating the idea that if a trombonist wants a really good part, the easiest route is to write it yourself.
