Moses Slipped Up Acoustic Guitar - Digital Sheet Music

This simple sermon song is based on a sermon delivered by Dr. Paul de Jong at First Presbyterian Church of Fort Myers Florida on July 2, 2023. It superimposes lyrics from the story of Numbers 20: 1-13 on the children's tune of " Little Black Duck, Swimming in the Water." Rather than having piano accompaniment, it has guitar chords. As the Israelites were wandering in the desert, they implored Moses to get water and the first time, he followed God's command and used his rod to srike a rock to bring forth water, and all was well. However, years later as the people grumbled and threatened the leadership of Moses, he went to God , andmissed the instruction to SPEAK to the rock and he hit it again instead. God gave his people needed water, but saw to it that neither brother Aaron nor Moses would see the promised land for this little slip up. It's a fun song, which could have motions for kids of a slip motion upward and flowing water, etc. This song could be sung by children at Sunday school or Hebrew school or by youth groups or adults.
