Great for all players
This book was recommended by a teacher for any musician, and she's right. Just doing the exercises helps your reading of rhythmic structures, no matter how you make music.

removes many misconceptions and develops accuracy
I was lucky enough to have Gil Breines teach me out of this book. The first dozen pages or so are deceptively easy but can be used by an advanced student to tighten up on proper notation of rhythm and the beginner student a solid foundation to build on. The latter studies are seriously going to build your comprehension and playing ability. This book is a must have.
