This beautiful minuet of Beethoven is nice to play as a duet with two violins. It was written for the court and was intended for social dancing. It is a good idea to think about when playing this piece, that it must be light, leisurely and danceable. I have written a 2nd part not so much as an accompaniment, but as an equal and melodic part that creates a nice interplay with the first part. It is well suited for the teacher to play together with the student, or for two students together.This is one of 12 duets where the pieces are taken from Suzuki 2 - and where the 2nd violin part has a more independent role than is usual in similar arrangements. They are all available on this website.
