Boccherini's minuet is a well-known and fun little piece. The catchy syncopations make the piece "modern", even though it was composed over 200 years ago. If you're looking for something to play with a friend or with your teacher, here's a well-tried duet that my violin students have played with each other or with me, instead of the usual piano accompaniment. The piece can be found in Suzuki Violin School 2, and is one of 12 duets I have arranged with a new 2nd voice.
