A circus milonga is the kind of music Fellini might have used in a film about the circus.
Composed during 2022, these Circus Milongas are dedicated to Fernando Sarasola.
Each of these three pieces can also be performed individually.
The milonga is a traditional musical genre from the Río de la Plata region, closely related to the tango. It appears in two main forms: the rural milonga campera (generally slower) and the urban milonga ciudadana (usually faster). My Circus Milongas are closer in character to the urban milonga.
