Marcus (A0.1739593).Chopin's popular spirited piano piece arranged for 2 B-flat Trumpets, 2 Horns, Trombone, and Tuba. It's transposed up half a step from the original A major. To accommodate the varied instrumentation of brass sextets, parts for Euphonium/Trombone 2 and Baritone (treble clef) are included as alternates for the second horn.
This arrangement is American Band College grade 4. The 1st trumpet part has one high C and several G-sharps and As above the staff. When played on a trombone or baritone, the Horn 2 part ascends to concert G above the staff. Suitable for advanced high school ensembles and for college or adult players, it's a fun piece for "Solo and Ensemble" concerts and festivals.
