A harmonized trio of flute, guitar and bass clarinet follows, performing written cadenza-like lines together over soft, sustained winds. The rhythm section establishes an even eighth note medium tempo beat for melodic statements, followed by a bass clarinet solo. Next is a guitar solo which develops into a more intense 12/8 feel, followed by the brassy climax of the chart.
