Very Useful Grade 1 Part 2 Book
This book is incredibly better than the red first grade book. The progress in the book paves the way smoothly for the 2nd grade book of this or the red course. There are no gaps in the progression.A helpful way to use this book also is to use it after the red first grade book. Doing so plugs the gap found in the red course. But afer you start using this course, you won't want to go back to the red one! It includes pieces such as Chopin's Eb Nocturne, Dvorak Humoresque, and Schubert's March Militaire.Keys progress to four sharps and flats. Beginning thumb crossings are taught, and various moves and extensions are used in the pieces. I love using this course as a supplement to other courses.
