...three themes are constantly getting involved with each other and surprisingly: despite extensive complicated rhythms, despite the structure consisting of clusturs, the composition, which is located between nan-carrow's use of rhythmical elements and ligeti's 'ton-trauben' (clusters) is always as transparent as water mostly no longer is. (reinhard kager, 1990). each of the three parts has got a different level of difficulty (from i to v, v being the most difficult) and each can be performed separately.

from the simplest most skeletal rhythms to the more complex, through colours unimagined at the harpsichord, this is a music that takes the lisener on world travels : monophony, polyphony, harmony, counterpoint, modality, through voices, voices singing, cajoling, insisting, screaming, caressing.
