SKU: A0.1812601

Composed by Stanley M. Hoffman. This edition: pdf, streaming. 21st Century, Classical. Individual part. 4 pages. Stanleymhoffman.com #1372705. Published by stanleymhoffman.com (A0.1812601).

Completed in 2004, "Melancholy Prelude" for organ solo is dedicated to David Bohn who premiered it yesterday in Madison, Wisconsin. It begins with a brief introductory phrase, followed by the main theme during which the left and right hands often double each other, a sequential transitional passage, and a recapitulation of the main theme. The musical language mixes modality and tonality. The sheet music is available for licensing from me, and for sale from Sheet Music Plus.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard's global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
